Kaseya urges MSPs to move fast on AI services
Kaseya CEO Rania Succar said at Kaseya Connect Europe in Prague that managed service providers (MSPs) will miss significant growth opportunities if they do not accelerate their AI services. Citing Kaseya research, she noted that nearly half of MSP customers have raised AI demands, but only 13% of MSPs can generate substantial revenue from them. Omdia analyst Maxine Holt also pointed out that 70% of enterprise AI proof-of-concept projects fail to reach production. AI use could lead to a connectivity crisis
As AI workloads accelerate their penetration into enterprise environments, network connectivity is shifting from "bit-byte" transmission to "token-context" distribution. Tech Mahindra executive Manish Mangal pointed out at the Network X Americas conference that existing networks cannot distinguish between token streams from laundry robots and medical emergency robots, and traditional predefined prioritization mechanisms will fail. He suggested replacing traditional latency metrics with "time-to-first-token" and warned that operators and channel partners who merely view AI as a cost-reduction tool will fall behind in the new round of competition.
